Fantastic start to the morning, as we went for a lead walk, just to the park and back, and Poppy met Bouncer a lovely, big, soft yellow labrador, which went well; but mainly when we got back for the first time ever she drank from her water bowl standing up. As her normal drinking posture is literally laid out prone with whole face in the water bowl this is a tremendous boost for us.
It is a real questionning game, will she get stronger, will she cope with this illness, will she continue to have enough energy for these little walks and fun games? Of course only time will tell, but the first few days have been really positive.
Dad is going to try to brush her, and clip her claws today, so lets hope this is a positive experience for her.
