Sorry couldn't get internet connection last pm, so no post until today - and it is an important one, as the padder puppy shoes worked! Poppy walked all the way to the Play Park and back again without lying down once - amazing! She also had a good play with the other two dogs, chasing Joey trying to get the new yellow and black softy ball (now minus the squeaker) from him.
We are all feeling really positive about her progress at the moment. We think she may be getting a bit stronger, and so long as we can keep her weight sensible we are hoping that she will cope OK.
Saturday has been miserable and wet, so we just did one lap of the close, which was enough (and no shoes on, as it was too wet for them, as of course they are fabric); I think the cold and wet will be a problem for Poppy, but she has been pretty bright all day, but no way would she have managed any longer walk. When she is full grown we will try a wet weather jacket - I have already secured a lovely warm coat for her, which may need some adjustment as it is XL! but only £5 in the sale at Pets at Home.
