What horrendous weather - no dog club for us today. Poppy does not do well in wet weather - fortunately this morning it was dry for long enough to get out. We just went to the Play Park with the boots, that have been waterproof sprayed. I wouldn't say they were totally waterproof, but certainly passable as showerproof, as we got home with dry feet, but wet soles of boots.
Poppy manages well in her boots at present, and she is getting used to having them put on. I sit with her in her bed, and she lets me take each paw in turn to put on the boot. Sometimes, we have to be chewed whilst putting on the boots!
