Where does the time go? Poppy has been out in her new boots, lovely baby blue - or at least they were before she went for the walk! She has walked the furthest she has ever been, to the bridge, then along the track by the river to the open space and then home. She really walked out well, and if you didn't know any different you would not know how disabled she really is. What a wonderful puppy.
This walk has really tired her though, so although it was great at the time, it was probably too far, and we are paying the price now. She is far brighter though than previous fatigued episodes.
She is such a fighter, she really does not have any muscle over the majority of her body - she pretty much keeps herself upright and walking through grim determination and guts.
We have had a lovely weekend with her, and will certainly treasure some of this time, in the future.
